When Laura first inquired with me, I knew their wedding was going to be an absolute cracker! Perhaps this answer to my question "What is unique about you as a couple?" might give you an idea of why I couldn't wait to book them in - "Sleep is overrated, we are always on the go from working with cattle to bailing hay to tractor work to trying to fit in a pub meal for a sneaky parmy."
After our initial chat, we met in person at their family farm in Silverdale within the beautiful Scenic Rim. Laura and Vince showed me a hill on the property where Vince proposed, so we knew we had to race there to get some special photos on their wedding day. We also went to Sacred Heart Church at Harrisville where the ceremony was going to be - unfortunately Covid f*cked that plan up, but we got photos outside the front of the quaint church on their wedding day regardless, as well as a sneaky walk in the middle of town surrounded by vintage buildings and the sound of beeping car horns from the locals :D
From showing me their family property at Silverdale on a quad bike where a giant barn full of hay was to be converted into their reception space, to dealing with the Covid situation like absolute champs, to finally having their wedding, barn conversion and all with their nearest and dearest, their love absolutely shone through in every part of their wedding journey.
Their wedding day had an enormous amount of special little touches, including gifts for family members, boxes of goodies for bridesmaids and a brooch on Laura's bouquet of her Grandpa who passed to name a few. You could really feel the strong connections between their family and friends which made for an emotion fuelled day.
Hard working country folk are some of my favourite people. Down to earth, no BS and up for a lot of fun! Laura and Vince from the beautiful countryside of the Scenic Rim certainly proved my point!
